Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas use gentle infrared light to warm your body directly, rather than heating the air around you like a traditional sauna. This allows for a deep, therapeutic heat at a more comfortable temperature.

Why Infrared Sauna?

Some days your body simply needs warmth—deep, steady warmth that helps it soften and release. Infrared sauna gently warms the body from within, supporting tired muscles, easing joint stiffness, and calming the nervous system. It’s ideal for recovery, stress, sleep support, or when life feels like it’s been too full for too long.

What is Infrared Sauna Therapy?

An infrared sauna uses infrared light panels to gently raise your core body temperature from the inside, instead of heating the air around you. That means you get deep, penetrating warmth at a much lower, more comfortable temperature than a traditional sauna (usually somewhere between 40°C and 60°C).

The result is a proper, detoxifying sweat that supports your body's natural healing.

At Buoyant Sea, our infrared sauna is a private session in a dedicated room. Your own time to rest, recover, and let the warmth do its work.

BENEFITS

  • Better sleep. The gentle heat helps regulate your circadian rhythm for deeper, more restful sleep.
  • Reduced pain. Infrared heat penetrates joints and muscles, easing chronic pain, stiffness and inflammation.
  • A proper detoxifying sweat. Infrared sweats are deep and cellular, so your body gets to clear more than a surface sweat can.
  • Better circulation. As your core temperature rises, blood flow picks up. Good for cardiovascular health and muscle recovery.
  • Real stress relief. Warmth triggers endorphins and lowers cortisol, so you leave calmer and restored.
  • Healthier skin. Increased circulation and sweating can improve tone, clarity and elasticity.

Who Is It For?

Infrared sauna is a favourite for people managing chronic pain or stiffness, athletes chasing faster recovery, and anyone who just finds warmth helps them unwind. It pairs beautifully with floatation therapy too. Many clients book a sauna session followed by a float when they want the full recovery reset.
